He suggests to his father that they take a trip to Azurum (Earth) to cut down an evergreen tree and bring it back to Mars. After landing on Earth, Hextoo and Martoo exit the spaceship and walk about the snow-covered field. They find a grove of specially grown evergreen trees. Nearby, in a bush path, a young orphan boy named Peter is watching the aliens. Hextoo introduces himself to Peter and convinces Peter to take a trip to Mars to experience a Martian Christmas.
