It is the home of the Whistling Water Taoist Temple, Sunshine Facing Temple. Stone Drum Temple, Guanine Pavilion, and others and from the summit you can see the sun rise out of Huanghai Sea and the sun set in the Bahai Sea. You can also see the ancient city of Jinzhou and the dynamic new city of Dalian. They say it is named Dahei Mountain because of its light dark mountain stone.
