Temperatures were below normal and bee flights have been limited. In the northern sections, most colonies are broodless but have good clusters of bees and plenty of feed. In the southern sections, colonies are normal though some are light in stores. Some colonies are being fed now and others will need feeding later. No bees are being moved at this time and no plants are being worked. Annual plants show good growth and are off to a good start. Bud set on manzanita is spotty, possibly below normal.
