Book excerpt: "The purpose of this research is to train new believers as evangelists to evangelize non believers. Most of the believers at Kansas Korean Full Gospel church, which researcher serves, are new believer immigrants. Most of the believers have thought of the church as being a place to have fellowship or a religious act. Therefore the believers lack the passion to save souls. Due to this, the church is becoming spiritless and causing the following problems. First, believers are not realizing the importance of evangelism. Second, believers lack interest and recognition of church growth. Third, believers lack the identity of evangelist that believers should have. Fourth, they lack the sense of duty to evangelize. Fifth, they do not realize the need of evangelism training. Due to these problems, the believers leave the church. Also the believers who are left do not use their strength to evangelize. The researcher selected 12 participants and performed 10 weeks of evangelism training to solve this problem. First through pre-test evaluated consciousness of the above problems of 12 participants, he performed the training that he prepared with the above 12 participants. The researcher, after the training, performed the post-test with 5 subjects with the 12 participants. A noticeable increase in result occurred. Ministers need to train new believers to become evangelists. This has to be the urgent priority of ministering. Doing so will allow the church to bear effective fruit of guiding non believers, who are linked to new believers, to Jesus. The researcher hopes that this research will be the bridge to ministers and believers who share the same hope as the researcher"--Abstract.
