Book excerpt: Human Rights Watch (HRW) offers the full text of the report entitled "Jenin: Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Military Operations," which was originally published in the May 2002 issue of "Israel, the Occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the Palestinian Authority Territories." Three researchers from HRW spent time in Jenin interviewing Palestinians after the IDF launched a military operation in the refugee camp. The researchers found that the IDF used bulldozers to demolish homes and at least 52 Palestinians were killed.
