Douglas is not certain but as she gives him examples of people he knows and does not know, he begins to understand. When she explains that talking to strangers is bad and sometimes dangerous, Douglas realizes that he must always be careful when strangers try to talk to him. His mother then shares that he must be extra cautious of the man in the white van because he has been hurting children. When Douglas hears this, he pictures his favorite super heroes helping him find the man so that no more children are hurt. One day, Douglas is thrilled and surprised when his parents take him to pick out his very own puppy. His puppy, Dr. Wiggles, is not only a friend but also a protector. One day while they are playing outside, Douglas looks up to see the white van. Will he be like the super heroes he admires and help the police catch the man in the white van?
