Book excerpt: George Thompson Bell (1817-1889), son of John Henderson Bell (1791-1838) Mary Sigler Bell, was born in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. He changed the order of his given names to Thompson George Bell to avoid confusion with "...another G T B born in 1803, his father's cousin." He married Priscilla Martin (1871-1851) in 1841. They had four children, 1846-1851. He married 2) Mary Elizabeth Anderson (1829-1907) in 1852. They had seven children, 1853-1868. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Illinois and elsewhere.
