Book excerpt: There has been series of complaints of poor performance of students in examinations at all levels of education. There are cases of "advised to withdraw", "expulsion", etc. At times, accusing fingers are pointed at the educators when the lion share of the blame lies within individual student. Most times, the necessary act and consequences are inseparable. When the right step to learning or acquiring a skill is not taken, the result is wrong information. To an extent, this result has adverse effect on our physical evaluation of our effort. So, there are principles that must be followed before you start each lesson for each day. There are conducts that you must not neglect. Failure to take to these principles will render your precious time useless and you earn a resounding failure. So as a student who is focused or intending to, you have the right tool with you to help earn you '' Outstanding Academic Excellence''. Note the word "Outstanding". It is made of two words joined. That is, "out" and "standing". This simply means that among several candidates, you are the only one who stands out strong amidst serious pressures, tensions and all sorts of discouragements. This is why you are OUTSTANDING. You stand out of the multitude. To this extent, you must know basic things that can actually place you above your co-candidates anywhere, anytime, any day. You may have to appreciate your educators by the time you are through with digesting all the principles in this precious tool. You can't hold anyone responsible for your failure; you have yourself to blame.
