This book was released on 1992 with total page 13 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This technical note describes a procedure for interpreting tissue residues of neutral organic chemicals generated in 28-day dredged material bioaccumulation bioassays. This interpretive guidance uses a critical body residue (CER) of neutral organic chemicals reported for the fathead minnow, Pimephales promelas. The CBR is based on a very large U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) acute toxicity database and well accepted quantitative structure activity relationships (QSARs). Guidance in this technical note is not appropriate when xenobiotic metabolism of neutral organic contaminants is likely.
