Book excerpt: In this research, a dynamic model will be developed to measure effectiveness of knowledge management processes in knowledge-intensive organizations. In this model, knowledge management logically has been replaced by various organizational levels such as strategic level, governance level and operational level based on the organization cybernetic model and by applying system dynamics tools. This model evaluates various knowledge management policies such as developing IT infrastructure, support communities and training of personnel in organizations. Subsequently, it has been applied in an industrial corporation to evaluate two different scenarios of knowledge management. Although the first scenario recommends developing social approach and the second scenario advices technology side, the analysis result indicates that social approach within support communities is the best strategy for the organization.
