Book excerpt: The book takes place over a period of about sixteen years. It starts with the stealing of Mafia money during the nationalization of Cuba by Fidel Castro in 1960. The story line follows the Mafia career of Quannah Parnay and his efforts to recover and capture the perpetrators of the fifty million in cash that was stolen by Randall Packard (aka Floyd Atwell) and his associates when it was brought to the States from Cuba for the five New York crime families. This and other assignments by the mob take him all over the world. This work is historical fiction, but the places and events are accurate. The characters are fictional, and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.
