You can read it as a stand-alone, but it works best if you've read the other books in the series, starting with Semi-Charmed. It also works best if you like kick-ass heroines and the sometimes befuddled alpha heroes who love them. You also might want to skip this one if you don't have a healthy appreciation for cussing and pop culture references.
