My family and friends have told me that my attitude and honesty regarding my cancer should be written down and shared with others. Thus, Still Here Kickin' was born. When I was first diagnosed, I never said "Why me, Lord?" I never got mad at anyone or at God. I wasn't scared. And as I always do, I started figuring out my Plans. I came up with Plans A-G. When A doesn't work, we move to Plan B, and if that stops working - on to Plan C and so on. When facing an incurable cancer, a "positive attitude" is the #1 factor for overcoming and living with this disease. I think this book is needed to help other cancer survivors maintain that positive attitude and learn to live with their problem and maintain that happy and fulfilling life.
